  1. I just purchased the preset and need a little help

On the minute of the timer how do I remove the 0? For a 5 minute timer I don’t want the 0 in front of the 5. Currently is 05:00 I need it to be 5:00

    Thanks

    1. Hi Briyan
The “hide zeros” feature is available only in the digital clock preset for leading hours, but you can still achieve that on the the timer with a simple mask that subtracts the leading zeros.

  2. Afternoon, I want to create a timer for a video and embed this as a animation or something visible for the duration of the video. I.E. my video will be 30sec long but i would want the timer to count up to 53 hours and 45 min whilst the video is running. Will your software give this to me ?

    1. Hi Paul
      Sure, It’s pretty simple:
using the Timer preset, set the “Speed” to Zero (which means manual animation), check the “Show Hour” box and uncheck the “Show mili-Second” box.
Now you can set the key frames of the hours and minutes to 0 in the beginning of the video and 5, 45 at the and video.
I recommend watching the full Tutorial to understand all of Time Presets capabilities.
      Best Regards

  3. Where can I get those digital fonts that are in your example video? Im trying to make a “24” spoof video and when I open the template it says that Ray tracing and a list of fonts are missing. The “get from adobe” square is also greyed out.

    1. Hi Sai
The fonts used are generic digital clock fonts available for purchase all over the web, but not from adobe.
Since our project files are designed to work on earlier versions of after effects the Ray trace engine is used. you can change the render engine to Cinema 4D to solve the issue.

  4. Counter has issues on 23.976 composition. I created a simple count up timer and when the comp hits the 24 minute mark, the timer reads 24:01. Make sure you reset the timer by changing speed to 0, and then changing it back to 1,

    1. Hi Peter
You are right, in compositions with non integer FPS, the timer mimics the time expression and shows time as frame based intervals. Your solution is good but that is exactly why you can change the speed to 0 and animate the time manually for more accurate results.
