  1. Best arrow plugin on the internet by far! For years I was waiting for a plugin like this, as animating a growing line with an arrowhead going through twists and turns was such a complex, tedious, and time-consuming process. This plugin makes it super easy and fast. All the rotating is done for you automatically and the plugin is extremely customizable. A lot of thought clearly went into this plugin, and the designer has thought of everything! Very happy customer! I also purchased the Counter preset which likewise covers everything I could wish to do with counters easily and fast and takes all the guess work out of it.

    1. Hi Pawel, if you mean to change the ArrowHeads to numbers, then yes. You can attach any layer to be the ArrowHead. If you mean something else please contact us through the contact page

  2. I have used arrowhead for a little while now and suddenly the script wont load anymore, I get Script alert error that there are invalid base64 characters in the input text, and Error at line #3 Error: JSON.parse. I need this to work for a project with a large amount of animated arrows.
I’ve tried to remove the scripts and put them back in again but then it just dont show at all.

    1. Hi Gustav
Updating after effects to version 17.0.5 is causing this issue.
We launched an update resolving this issue last week (v1.3.4), license key is needed for this update.
Please download it from your account page.
Let us know if this solves your issue

  3. Hi, If I generate a pathway with an expression so that I can animate its trajectory ( not just trim, real shape change ), can I then apply this plugin to turn it into an arrow ?
    Thanks !

    1. Hi! This version of Arrowhead works on paths with no animation to their shape. The next release of ArrowHead will include the ability to work also with animated paths, and more… but no release date yet…

  4. Hello – this looks great. Is it possible to set a custom arrow head as default, so you don’t have to manually re-apply your custom arrow head to every new arrow that you create?

  5. Hey there. Purchased several months ago and I have been enjoying the script. My problem with it is that there’s no preset system. I basically have to create every single arrow from scratch every time I open a new project. I work with basically the same arrow because of brand guidelines and yeah it’s a pain to have to build the same exact arrow from scratch every single time.

create – open tail – dont show – open layer properties – contents – line – stroke – butt cap < head – stroke – milter join < head – reduce size.

Over and over and over 🙁
Any chance you can include a save preset system? I think it would elevate the script to god tier! Thanks!

    1. Yes! Set Start and End to 50% place first keyframe on both to begin the animation, go to the time of the desired animation ending, and set Start to 0% and End to 100%.
This will create your desired animation.
