Until now, monitoring a render running on another machine meant reading its progress through the shared drive — and on many studio storage systems, that view can lag 20-30 seconds behind reality. In v1.6, rendering machines push their progress and completion directly to you over the network. The moment a frame renders, you know. The moment a render finishes, your panel says Done — and the next job starts moving.

What’s New?

• Realtime job monitoring: progress bars, time estimates and completions now update within seconds on every machine, with the classic file-based monitoring running automatically as a backup.
• Ninja Mode: need your machine to yourself? Go invisible to the render pool for 2 hours while you can still send renders to everyone else. Activate it from Settings, or Alt+click the network button. It turns itself off automatically — like a ninja, it was never there.
• Smarter completion: the rendering machine now reports the real result directly — no more finished sequences showing “Interrupted” on your end.
• Tooltips everywhere: every button and control now explains itself, with a “Show tooltips” toggle in Settings.
• Remote machine awareness: VPN and work-from-home machines are now clearly marked in the pool windows.
• Lighter on your storage: render logs are read incrementally instead of re-read whole, dramatically reducing shared-drive load during heavy render sessions.
